I bought a sous vide cooker and I have been using it for a week. I would like to share my experience with you. Sous vide is one of the famous low-temperature slow cookers. Some people say that it is a high-end cooking utensil with high technology. Some people just don't like it. If you use the sous vide cooker, you will find how attractive it is. I think the sous vide cooker will be a trend of mainstream kitchen utensils in the future.
 
Sous vide cookers have the following three advantages:
1. They have small sizes.
2. There is low energy consumption.
3. It is easy to use them.
 
After using the sous vide cooker for a week, I find it very appealing.
  • The ingredients can be quantified each time, so we won't waste food. Usually, when we cook, we always cook a lot using a big saucepan and eat the food for more than one day. This is really not healthy.
  • I use very little cooking oil. I only made steak and chicken breast once. I weighed the amount I needed, and applied a little oil. Put them in a vacuum bag and sealed with a vacuum sealer. Later, I put the steak or chicken breast in the sous vide cooker. I set the time for it to cook. When the time was up, I took it out and my meal is ready. The fat I intake was not much.
  • Now there is a WIFI version. Compared with the learning time of home cooking, all you have to do is wash the food, seal and vacuum it; put it in the sous vide cooker. Maybe in the near future, we can operate the sous vide cooker through your phone. When you arrive home, the meal is ready.
  • Think about the current housing price. How much space does a stove or range hood occupy? One sous vide cooker can solve the problem. How much money can you save?
