How to Choose a Vacuum Sealing Machine?

The structure of a vacuum packaging machine is very simple. The function of vacuuming is provided on the basis of the edge banding device. The core components are the vacuum pump, the heating wire and the sealing strip. When choosing a vacuum sealer, pay attention to the degree of vacuum, sealing width and functions.

1. The degree of vacuum
The vacuum sealers on the market all use relative degree of vacuum, such as -85kpa, which means the vacuum sealer makes the bag be in a vacuum state that is 85KPA lower than the atmospheric pressure. The greater the value after the minus sign is, the better the vacuum and the faster the vacuum speed become. Most models will display an air exhaust flow rate, which refers to the liters of air that can be vacuumed per minute. The greater the value is, the faster the vacuumed speed becomes. The degree of vacuum, working power and vacuumed flow rate are generally proportional. The higher the degree of vacuum is, the greater the working power and the faster the vacuumed flow rate become.

2. Sealing width
The mainstream models now have an extended sealing width of 30cm, which is mainly designed for the simultaneous packaging of multiple small packages. People who are good at baking like to make small cookies and snacks, this function is not bad. If there is no such demand, the sealing width of 25 cm is actually enough to pack daily food. After all, the longer the sealing width is, the bigger the vacuum sealer becomes. You can choose a vacuum sealer according to your preference.

3. Functions
Vacuum sealers with different models have different functions. The functions include single sealing, wet and dry vacuum, external vacuum and manual pumping.

Single sealing: sealing is provided instead of vacuum. For example, snacks such as potato chips, biscuits, walnuts and peanuts whose packaging bags have been opened can be sealed before they are eaten up, so that you don't need to worry about the moisture.

Wet and dry vacuum: vacuuming and sealing. A wet vacuum is not available.

External vacuum: Some models can vacuumize the vacuum preservation tin and vacuum bag with air valves through the external pumping tube. You need to ask whether or not the matched external tube is provided before purchasing. Some models have the function of external pumping, but the external pumping tube must be purchased separately.

Manual pumping: This function is specially designed to prevent soft foods such as bread and cakes from being compressed. Control the force of the vacuum by manually clicking to avoid the dry pumping directly pulling out all the air, and the bread will not deform terribly.
